Our organization currently has an opening for a full-time, non-exempt, Service Coordinator.   A summary of the position is below.

Service Coordinator position available for an elderly apartment community.  A Bachelor of Social Work or degree in Psychology or Counseling is preferable, along with two years' experience in social service delivery with the elderly.  The applicant needs to demonstrate working knowledge of supportive services and other resources in the area served by the project; and also demonstrate the ability to advocate, organize, problem solve and provide results for the elderly.

The Service Coordinator provides general case management which includes intake, education (services available and application procedures), and referral of residents to service providers; sets up service agency listing for self-referral; and sets up educational events.  The Service Coordinator will also link residents within the project to supportive services provided by public agencies or private practitioners.
